Our History

Hello! We're Scott & Gabriella Mosteller, parents to three wonderful kids. Our journey began with a passion project turned successful business called Hello Penny Bar. What started as a DIY mobile bar for our wedding evolved into a beloved local service, offering unique experiences at weddings, parties, and events. After years of joyous celebrations, we sold Hello Penny Bar in 2022 to focus on our growing family.

Why We Did This

With parenthood came new inspiration. Seeing our kids' love for basketball and the joy it brought them, we envisioned a new venture in the event rental space focused on children's entertainment. Surprisingly, there was a gap—no mobile arcade trailers centered around basketball. Drawing on our entrepreneurial spirit and experience, we set out to fill this void. Thus, Hoop San Diego was born—a mobile arcade trailer designed to bring the thrill of basketball right to your doorstep.

Our goal with Hoop San Diego is to create memorable experiences for families and communities. We're dedicated to expanding our reach, bringing Hoop trailers to more cities and events across the country. We envision the Hoop Trailer franchise becoming a go-to choice for birthday parties, community events, school functions, and beyond. As we continue to grow, our commitment remains rooted in delivering fun, excitement, and unforgettable moments wherever we go.

The Booking Process

1. Fill out the form

First we need some info from you about your party. Dates, times, location, add-ons, etc. We’ll get in touch to verify we are available.

2. Accept the Invoice

Once we verify your info we’ll send you over an official estimate for your event. This is where you can see a breakdown of the price.

3. Pay the deposit

When everything is approved and looks good, we’ll ask for a 50% deposit to lock in your event on our calendar.

4. Enjoy and Play

Day of the event, we’ll show up early to ensure everything is set up. A quick demo and you are ready to play the entire time.

  • We deliver our custom-built mobile arcade trailer to your desired location. The trailer features four basketball games that guests can enjoy, providing a fun and interactive experience.

  • You can book Hoop San Diego for a wide range of events, including birthday parties, community gatherings, corporate events, school carnivals, and any occasion where you want to add a unique entertainment element.

  • Our rental rate starts at $400 for 2 hours, with additional hours available at $100 each. We also offer party packages and optional add-ons like Players Club Bags for an enhanced experience.
